There are two books available, one for the older version of the iOS operating system (iOS 4) and one for the newer one (iOS 5). Follow these steps to find out which operating system is installed on your device:

1. Tap the Settings icon. (This may be in the Utilities folder.)
2. Tap General.
3. Tap About.
4. Scroll to Version.
